The Multihull Company is pleased to announce the opening of its new offices in San Francisco with its new agents Wayne Goldman and Sean Conner.
Multihulls California, situated in the heart of downtown San Francisco, is right on the water at Pier 40 on the Embarcadero.
The office is managed by associate broker Wayne Goldman, who has been around water his whole life and has sailed most of the waters of the world. He started out on his dad’s “huge” 21’ Chris Craft woodie cabin cruiser when he was still in diapers. He cried when his mom made his dad sell the boat to spend more time with the family. Once he had boating on his mind, he spent every chance he could on the lakes and rivers of upstate New York. Once he found the ocean when he went to college in New Hampshire, there was no turning back, buying and sailing boats wherever he went. He eventually ended up in California in a corporate job, but that did not stop him from buying his first cruising sailboat, a brand new Tayana 42’. During the next thrty years, Wayne would work a real job for a few years, then escape and go cruising for a few years.
Wayne has spent the last 20+ years in the marine industry, selling boating equipment to boat builders all over the world and doing international and local boat shows on the east and west coast. He has extensive experience with catamarans and has visited most of the catamaran factories around the world. For the past 5+ years, Wayne has focused his passion on helping other, like-minded boaters find the boat of their dream. With his vast knowledge of boats, and understanding what boaters are looking for, Wayne has been successfully finding the right boats for hundreds of boaters.
Sean Conner was born into a boating family, spending his childhood on and around the San Francisco Bay and Delta. This introduction to boating at such an early age stuck hard with Sean, who was never content unless he was on a boat.
After finishing school, Sean immediately went to work in South Florida for the Miss Geico Offshore powerboat racing team. Traveling extensively throughout the U.S. to nearly every boat race and major boat show, Sean was responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the teams several performance boats.
Having traveled home to spend some time in a family business, Sean’s need for adventure and salt water sent him to Mexico to crew on private yachts. From this point on, Sean found himself crewing on private yachts from Canada to Southern Mexico, including the Sea of Cortez and the Caribbean as far south as Grenada. After meeting many great people along the way that were looking to purchase or sell yachts Sean decided to obtain his Yacht Salesman license in California and begin working for The Multihull Company in California.
Being able to put real life, on-the-water experience into assisting his clients find the proper boat and equipment to fulfill their dreams has been invaluable. Sean’s hands-on knowledge of both power boats and sail boats have made him a very versatile resource for all of his clients needs.
Wayne and Sean now join The Multihull Company to open TMC San Francisco and assist clients with all of their buying and selling needs in the California and abroad. With offices situated in the downtown San Francisco and within close proximity to all of the major marina and facilities, they are ideally located to assist in the purchase or sale of your next catamaran.
If you are shopping for a boat in the California, or looking for assistance with the sale of your boat, Wayne and Sean are ready to assist!
My wife and I worked with Andrew Hodgdon to sell our 2021 FP Elba 45. In addition to skillfully carrying out the traditional yacht broker responsibilities, Andrew went above-and-beyond to ensure that we were well-positioned to sell in a competitive market. For example, Andrew helped out with much-appreciated repairs and hurricane prep, among other things. Trustworthy, intelligent, and conscientious, Andrew’s communications with us and the buyer were always thoughtful and forward-thinking, and fairly represented our interests.
We really lucked out in connecting with The Multihull Company. We made a cold call to Cynthia Wummer, a Multihull Company broker and told her we wanted to buy a catamaran to cruise The Great Loop and experience the Bahamas. We particularly wanted a PDQ power catamaran. From our first contact she was so helpful and responsive. She immediately contacted a selling broker who represented a prospective seller. Because we are new to a bigger boat and boating on the ICW, Cynthia assisted us through the entire process. She is a captain which was an added bonus to the process; she knew all the right questions to ask the selling broker as well as the surveyor. She drove 3 hours to be present during the survey, she developed a good relationship with the selling broker, she called and checked in with us regularly, was very enthusiastic about our purchase, and answered all our questions. We could not have done it without her. The Multlihull Company support team, Andrew Holland and Courtney Greider, were so helpful in the closing process: the paperwork was easy to complete and communication was smooth and timely. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Multihull Company and Cynthia to anyone who is the market for a boat large or small. Thank you!!!!
Multihull Company has succeeded again. This is my second time using their services and they are extremely professional and honest. Working with their brokers and their administrative team was easy. Communication occurred at every level and constructive advise was always given. They know this business inside and out and acted as my fiduciary in every way. I will use them again for their service and knowledge.
Great to deal with and very patient in our questions. They were able to find us the perfect vessel for our needs.
