About

"Fantastic!"...."Absolutely Brilliant." These are the first words to come to mind upon stepping aboard this wonderful Catana 58.

Nastia is the final of 29 produced 58's and has been upgraded in every aspect (see full specifications) as such, she is no longer your typical factory-produced 58!

Nastia wears a Maltese Flag.

Nastia has had one owner since her conception and was built with 3 cabins + Owners Version Cabin for added comfort and privacy.

Upgrades are visible the moment you step into her saloon-style layout. The owner has replaced an impractical settee on the starboard side with modern cabinetry that holds loads of additional storage space, dishwasher, a washing machine and has opened the interior space with a cool white color.

Flooring has been recently updated with marine vinyl laminate, while marine cork was used to replace the cockpit and sugar scoops teak deck.

To separate the working space from the living space, the Skippers Cabin located in the starboard cabin was turned into a large workshop with a nice working table and neatly stored tools and ropes. This space can be easily reverted to skippers cabin if necessary. There are two large compartments in the bows that hold all the sails/ropes/fenders.

Nastia comes upgraded with many carbon fiber parts. Carbon fiber mast by Alucarbon, Custom made carbon fiber daggerboards, carbon fiber cockpit table and chairs and complete hardtop in carbon fiber. Carbon fiber upgrades provide the boat with weight savings which in the end will allow much better performance and efficiency than the standard factory version. As such, her hardtop now weighs only 90kgs.

Further, the owner worked closely with the Catana yard during her building process to ensure she has reinforced bulkheads and weight carrying structural parts.

Brand new Volvo folding Gori propellers allowed her toglide through water at 1340 rpm (both engines) and maintained the speed between 7.5-8 knots with a bit of wind in the stern.

Electronics are upgraded, halyards are replaced with Dyneema and Harken winches throughout the boat with a large three speed electric winch in the cockpit (shame they dont produce three speed anymore as this was probably the best they every made).

Nastia is a large 58 foot owners version built to cruise around the world, as such she has an extremely well thought-out design. Further, the owner has redesigned her saloon in order to maximize her storage and equipment space.

Tasteful details have been added in all interior spaces through the years and her interior now looks like a true yacht designers masterwork. The owner has also upgraded to a Mastervolt pack of lithium batteries with about a kilowatt and a half of flexible solars and an almost new Fisher generator.

Nastia has everything one would need to safely circumnavigate the world in speed and comfort. In short, Nastia has every possible piece of high-end equipment you can add to a performance cruising cat!

We take pride in our happy customers

My wife and I worked with Andrew Hodgdon to sell our 2021 FP Elba 45. In addition to skillfully carrying out the traditional yacht broker responsibilities, Andrew went above-and-beyond to ensure that we were well-positioned to sell in a competitive market. For example, Andrew helped out with much-appreciated repairs and hurricane prep, among other things. Trustworthy, intelligent, and conscientious, Andrew’s communications with us and the buyer were always thoughtful and forward-thinking, and fairly represented our interests.

We really lucked out in connecting with The Multihull Company. We made a cold call to Cynthia Wummer, a Multihull Company broker and told her we wanted to buy a catamaran to cruise The Great Loop and experience the Bahamas. We particularly wanted a PDQ power catamaran. From our first contact she was so helpful and responsive. She immediately contacted a selling broker who represented a prospective seller. Because we are new to a bigger boat and boating on the ICW, Cynthia assisted us through the entire process. She is a captain which was an added bonus to the process; she knew all the right questions to ask the selling broker as well as the surveyor. She drove 3 hours to be present during the survey, she developed a good relationship with the selling broker, she called and checked in with us regularly, was very enthusiastic about our purchase, and answered all our questions. We could not have done it without her. The Multlihull Company support team, Andrew Holland and Courtney Greider, were so helpful in the closing process: the paperwork was easy to complete and communication was smooth and timely. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Multihull Company and Cynthia to anyone who is the market for a boat large or small. Thank you!!!!
