At 12 years old Charles told his mom he wanted to live on a boat and that dream became a reality at 35 when he moved onboard a baby trimaran full time. Growing up in Greece and moving back to the USA for high school and college, Charles has never veered far from the water. After a decade in the Florida Keys and the Bahamas, Charles is now based in Bocas del Toro Panama, living on his Shuttleworth catamaran. Charles has a deep understanding of ship systems and has been living off grid for over a decade, with a significant amount of shorthanded performance sailing. “There are few things I appreciate more than watching the eyes of a new owner light up when taking the helm of their new boat for the first time, or seeing a well-loved boat going to a great new home, and knowing I helped make that a reality”
