About
"Kestrel" is a gorgeous example of the Seawind 1260 catamaran from the well regarded yard in Vietnam. The Seawind 1260 is a sporty cruising catamaran designed for comfortable liveaboard sailing. Known for its sleek modern lines and spacious layout, the 1260 offers a great balance of performance and functionality. Kestrel features the 3-cabin Owner's Version layout which incorporates expansive living areas, a well-equipped galley, and large comfortable cabins with two heads. It is the ideal size to be easily handled by a cruising couple but also large enough to host the whole family for extended stays. The boat's design emphasizes ease of handling with its twin helm positions and 360 degree visibility. The Seawind 1260s innovative construction combines durability with lightweight materials resulting in a high quality finish on a boat that's also fun to sail.
The advantages of the Seawind 1260 lie in its combination of speed, comfort, and versatility. The wide beam offers impressive interior volume, ensuring that the onboard experience feels expansive and livable even on extended trips. The large tri-fold doors open between the cockpit and salon which allows for seamless indoor / outdoor open concept living that can also be securely closed up when the weather isn't cooperating. The boats robust construction, innovative systems, and well-designed accommodations make it a standout cruising catamaran that is ideal for coastal cruising and island hopping. Some of Kestrel's highlights include:
And much more! Kestrel is US Import Duty Paid and available for showings by appointment in beautiful St Augustine, FL. *Kestrel is currently hauled out in yard storage. All mattresses, cushions, covers, etc were not photographed because they are located in a climate controlled storage unit, but they all are included with the sale of the boat.*

Working with Andrew Hodgdon at The MultiHull Company was a great experience. Andrew has years of experience in the multihull market, especially performence catamarans and was the Technical Director at Balance Catamarans for many years. He’s always available to talk, guide and advise. He’s easy to work with, is extremely knowledgeable, and has a very pleasant way about him. I would highly recommend Andrew to help in your sale or purchase of any multihull.
Working with Will, Andrew Holland and Andrew Hodgdon to sell my Balance 442 was such a pleasure. No one knows multihulls as well as Andrew Hodgdon, especially performance cats like a Balance. As Technical Director of Balance for many years, Andrew knows all of the nuances of that type of boat, as well as the other brands in the category. If you want to sell or buy a catamaran, look no further than Andrew Hodgdon!
Multihull Company did a great job with advertising and selling our boat. Also with the closing and documentation work. Highly recommend them and our broker, Dunbar Lewis.
