Escape is a stunning 16m power catamaran, designed by Roger Hill and built by Pachoud Yachts, showcasing the best of New Zealand design and engineering. Refitted to perfection in 2016 by Pachoud Yachts, Escape incorporates modern upgrades and innovations. Her transom was remodelled, the flybridge deck extended and her propulsion system repowered with a conversion to new shaft drive engines and running gear for enhanced reliability and efficiency. Constructed with durable eGlass and a plywood core, she offers exceptional strength, efficiency and seakeeping capabilities, cruising effortlessly at 20 knots.
Escape is powered by twin Cummins QSB 6.7 (550hp) diesel engines with 1,350 hours, delivering reliable and economical performance. A Panda Genset provides ample onboard power. While her complete rewiring with the advanced CZone system provides seamless control of onboard systems. State-of-the-art Simrad electronics, including radar, autopilot and multifunction displays, ensure confident navigation. Escape also features electronic steering and throttles for precise handling.
In 2019, the cockpit interior was redesigned, adding a modern seating arrangement & a stylish table, making the space even more inviting. Her commercial survey status makes her fully charter-ready.
