About
PANGAEA is no stranger to the Florida Keys and the Bahamas. She has been well maintained and upgraded over the past 4 years. Her high efficiency Volvo D3-190 engines make trips from the Florida panhandle to the Keys and Bahamas, cruising at 7 to 8 knots, very affordable and comfortable. Her water draft of approximately 30 inches makes many islands and inlets, not accessible to deeper draft vessels, easily accessible. The 4-blade propellors are positioned above the keels providing excellent protection to the props in shallow waters. Her low air draft of 17 feet, with the vhf antennas lowered, makes travelling the intracoastal waterway a breeze. Having bow and stern thrusters along with a remote control takes the worry out of close quarters docking and allows for single-handed docking, if necessary. Engine maintenance is a breeze with the large - easy access engine compartments aft and the large generator compartment with storage in the port bow.
PANGAEA accommodates 6 people comfortably and has often accommodated up to 8 people for up to a week at a time. Her 21-foot beam provides a feeling of spaciousness typically found only in much larger yachts. The cockpit can be heated and cooled and provides a panoramic view with glass windshields with wipers and new strata-glass enclosures. The ice maker in the cockpit provides plentiful ice and the bar sink dispenses triple-filtered water for owners and guests. The large storage area located beneath the cockpit offers storage for water toys, diving equipment etc.
The master quarters are located in the port hull and features a queen size berth, a full-height hanging cedar closet, 2 large drawers and several other storage areas including a large storage area beneath the berth and shelving in the hallway. The master quarters also include a large vanity with hinged mirrors above, accessing large storage for personal effects and a large walk-in shower with seating area. The guest quarters are located on the starboard side and includes queen-berths in the aft and bow with a head and shower separating the two. The guest quarters also include a full height hanging cedar closet, two large drawers, and several storage areas including a large storage area under the aft berth and shelving in the hallway. The fresh-water heads help to eliminate offensive head odors.
For extensive stays on the hook, the 1800 watts of solar panels with 2-solar controllers, 8-4d batteries and 3000-watt inverter/charger provides abundant power with a new 8 kw generator to provide additional power when needed. Extensive stays at anchor are also facilitated by the Spectra 12.8 gph water maker and a new Splendede washer/dryer located in the starboard bow stateroom. Controls for the watermaker, batteries and solar panels, and generator are located at the desk area located in the salon with plenty of room for a computer and monitor. The salon has a large βLβ shaped settee with table that can be lowered to provide an additional berth. Abundant storage is located beneath the salon settee.
Smart televisions are located in the Cockpit, Salon/Galley and Master Stateroom as well as a stereo system with speakers in the Salon/Galley and Cockpit for entertainment. The galley is well equipped with a new refrigerator/freezer, gas range and oven, and microwave. The large sink is molded into the countertop with a triple-filtered water dispenser and a large storage area below. The galley boasts several storage areas above and beneath the countertops providing plenty of storage areas for food, cooking utensils and supplies. An additional drink refrigerator is located in the galley.

My wife and I worked with Andrew Hodgdon to sell our 2021 FP Elba 45. In addition to skillfully carrying out the traditional yacht broker responsibilities, Andrew went above-and-beyond to ensure that we were well-positioned to sell in a competitive market. For example, Andrew helped out with much-appreciated repairs and hurricane prep, among other things. Trustworthy, intelligent, and conscientious, Andrew’s communications with us and the buyer were always thoughtful and forward-thinking, and fairly represented our interests.
We really lucked out in connecting with The Multihull Company. We made a cold call to Cynthia Wummer, a Multihull Company broker and told her we wanted to buy a catamaran to cruise The Great Loop and experience the Bahamas. We particularly wanted a PDQ power catamaran. From our first contact she was so helpful and responsive. She immediately contacted a selling broker who represented a prospective seller. Because we are new to a bigger boat and boating on the ICW, Cynthia assisted us through the entire process. She is a captain which was an added bonus to the process; she knew all the right questions to ask the selling broker as well as the surveyor. She drove 3 hours to be present during the survey, she developed a good relationship with the selling broker, she called and checked in with us regularly, was very enthusiastic about our purchase, and answered all our questions. We could not have done it without her. The Multlihull Company support team, Andrew Holland and Courtney Greider, were so helpful in the closing process: the paperwork was easy to complete and communication was smooth and timely. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Multihull Company and Cynthia to anyone who is the market for a boat large or small. Thank you!!!!
Multihull Company has succeeded again. This is my second time using their services and they are extremely professional and honest. Working with their brokers and their administrative team was easy. Communication occurred at every level and constructive advise was always given. They know this business inside and out and acted as my fiduciary in every way. I will use them again for their service and knowledge.
Great to deal with and very patient in our questions. They were able to find us the perfect vessel for our needs.
