About

Lagoon 440, this sailing catamaran is a stunning 2008 model in the popular 4 cabin layout.

Exclusively for sale with DBY Boat Sales.

Lagoon 440s are known to be amongst the most popular catamarans ever built, only superseded after 10 years of production by the next generation of the 450. She has been the most successful distance cruiser of all the Lagoon range over the years and for very good reason. The Lagoon 440 provides ultimate comfort, good performance, as well as proven sea-keeping qualities.

This 4-cabin version is Ocean ready and lying Pittwater, Sydney, seeking new owners for her next voyage.

The stability and comfort on the ocean or a rolling anchorage in a catamaran is paramount compared to a monohull. Plus the access to shallow and well protected beaches where dangerous reefs prevent most monohulls to seek shelter is a huge advantage.

The interior provides amazing volume of accommodation and privacy for owners and guests plus a sensational galley and huge salon, not to mention the seating/dining area on the back deck, largely undercover and protected from the elements.

All 4 cabins are about the same size and have private large head/shower. Designed for extended cruising and life on board, the storage capacity is huge, and includes many dedicated lockers, drawers and hanging lockers in every cabin and living areas.

Fully imported, she is ready to sail away into the Pacific or Cruise Australian waters.

Quality Raymarine electronic package with Bluetooth connectivity and AIS plus Starlink internet wifi ranger-wifi booster. Mase 10 KVA generator. A massive solar array charges the Lithium bank of batteries which easily powers everything, including all of the cooking equipment so there is no lpg onboard.

Wired for both 110v and 240v via a Charles ISO transformer. She has a big capacity Watermaker, rigging replaced in 2017, sail wardrobe of 4 sails are all in good condition at a mix of around 5 years of age.

The 440 is well known for her effortless performance and comfortable ride. It is very common for this design to arrive in Australia sailed by only a couple with 4 young children. This beautiful catamaran is well set up for short-handling and is extremely sought after so wont last long for sale. Comes complete with all the additional spares, typical of a long range cruising yacht, engine parts, stocked galley ready to use, too much equipment to list.

We take pride in our happy customers

Was a pleasure working with Andrew Hodgdon as buyers agent for our recent multihull purchase. Very knowledgeable of this space and for sure my first call buying or selling a yacht.

— Russell Wesdyk

The multihull company has been great to work with. They were very helpful in every stage of our purchase from instill showings to purchase. Karl Reed, Andrew Hodgon and Andrew Holland were great sources of information and helped us find our dream Catamaran. Thank you Multihull!

— Ryan Thompson

Sold my L42 here with the excellent help and support of TMCs Croatia sales manager “Zee”. Despite my boat docked on the dry in Montenegro, in winter and in a challenging market, TMC and Zee managed to get her sold, managing the entire process from taking pictures and video’s, putting her out there on the web, prepping her and managing all for inspections….down to the final hand-over documents and managing the escrow payments when all boxes were ticked! Very professional, very helpful (Zee went above and beyond to make sure he delivers excellent service), responsive and successful. Thanks TMC!

— Era Sailing

Excellent experience dealing with TMC! Anyone buying a boat I would recommend going thru them. Chuck was super friendly and helpful, he went above and beyond helping us thru the process.

— Blue Compass Private Charters

We purchased our lagoon 410 through the multihull company, Andrew Hodgdon was the listing’s broker. From the start till the end of the process he was upfront honest and accommodating. Our situation was unique and required a bit more leg work. Andrew was always easy to get a hold of and willing to help. It was a pleasure working with a highly knowledgeable broker that values integrity. I highly recommend him.
