About

S/V Road Less Traveled is a 2013 Lagoon 421, She is extensively upgraded extended for blue water cruising, completely equipped to begin your adventure today.

The Lagoon 421 is one foot longer than the boat she replaces, the Lagoon 420.  Lagoon 421 catamarans boast a variety of stunning features:

  • The famous “gullwing-shaped” bridge deck prevents slamming into big waves is continued forward so as to receive the anchor roller and an optional strut to fit a gennaker.
  • A safe and comfortable deck layout (wide side decks, easy circulation, excellent overall ergonomics).
  • Outstanding comfort for a 42′ catamaran including an independent washroom with toilet and shower for each cabin.
  • Optimized hull lines from the 420 with redesigned underwater hulls shape aft.
  • Light grey tinted windows and hatches for an even nicer ambiance and more natural light.
  • More dynamic lines and a lowered profile than the 420 with the same comfort.
  • A new and lowered fixed bimini, for better protection from the sun and the spray
  • Solid fiberglass hulls below the waterline (no balsa or foam core)

Road Less Traveled has spacious cabins and tons of storage options. The forward cabins are unique, having a separate standup shower compartment. The comfortable outside salon has all new upholstery.

With 2K of solar, a 1120ah Lithium bank, and 35GPH water maker your destinations are endless. A new Precision Sails blue water main sail was installed in 2022 and a major refit and upgrade in 2021. Powered by 39hp Yanmar diesels with 3800 hours and upgraded SD60 sail drives. A center console dingy with 30hp Honda 4stroke gets you to shore quickly.
