About
2008 Fountaine Pajot Salina 48 Quatuor– SUNBELIEVABLE – Marathon, Florida
This 2008 Fountaine Pajot Salina 48 is truly Sunbelievable! Never chartered with only 2 private owners since new, she boasts extremely low engine and generator hours. She is a 4 cabin, 4 head model with an extra single bunk to starboard and storage shelves amidship to port. The Salina features a sundeck aft which also serves as sun protection for her nearly new dinghy. Her mezzanine helm to starboard has quick access inboard to the cockpit or out board to the deck. All cabins have semi-walkaround berths with ample storage and hanging lockers. Kept behind the owner’s house in Marathon, FL, no expense has been spared keeping her ready to cruise the Bahamas in a moment’s notice. Complete with watermaker and updated electronics, the meticulous care of her owner is reflected in her unsurpassed condition.
Manufacturers Description
From plans drawn in the office of architects Berret Racoupeau, the SALINA 48 is the emblem of a new generation of cruising for which the dynamism of the lines and her elegance are the key words. Destined for navigation on the high seas, her horizontal organization gives her stability, an essential element for safety and space for navigation.
The SALINA 48 was designed by sailors for sailors. Her helm and bench seating, which accommodates 3 people, is directly situated near to the work station which houses all the key elements required for ease of sailing. In this way all the living area is protected from the maneuvers but still preserving natural communication. The SALINA 48 is a fast boat with her 130 m² of sail. She is safe because of her center of gravity being very low.
