The Atlantic 47 incorporates the patentedย MastFoil rig. The sailplan eliminates the mainsail and all of its related handling problems. In its place are highly efficient airfoils that can be controlled to provide added sailing speed or allowed to feather eliminating windage in a storm. Proven over 10 years of offshore use in dozens of cruising cats.

Zephyr was built for an experienced yachtsman who wanted a super reliable, low maintenance vessel that he could cruise long distance without worry. Dual autopilots, substantial ground tackle, manual rather than powered systems where they make sense all contribute to this goal.
