Over the past 14 years Nautilus Yacht Management has acquired a consistent reputation for carefully selected beautifully presented yachts designed and equipped specifically for the blue-water cruising and live-aboard life- style. We are privileged to be meeting such beautiful vessels around the world, as well as create lasting connections with their cruising families, both buyers and sellers.

The Bali Catamaran, latest creation of the prestigious Catana Group, has only just started to arrive on our shores. We believe that they will take the world by storm and altogether set new standards for multihull designers and builders around the world. We all have our favourite designs, but few boats tick as many boxes as our first encounter with a Bali 4.6, which literally made us feel as if we were on a Superyacht and which we found hard to believe could pack so many extraordinary feature and usable space in a 46' catamaran.

The Lucky Cat is hull N° 39 of the Bali 4.6. She was launched and delivered in Marrans (France) in July 2021. The owners move aboard in La Rochelle from September to December 2021 to follow and supervise all the installations needed for their voyage (watermaker, air conditioners, lithium batteries, ect.)

Planning a 3 year journey from France to Fiji, the boat was fully equipped since the very beginning with everything needed to be fully independent for long periods of time away from marinas, to be safe and efficient, and to provide her owners with all the comfort and luxuries of home.

The Lucky Cat was officially completed by the shipyard and commissioning specialists in December 2021 in La Rochelle (France). She has only had one owner since new and has never been chartered or rented.

A WORD FROM THE OWNERS:

“We had never been sailing before. It was our dream, and it became true. After 3 years, after having been traveling to Portugal, Canaries, The French Caribbeans islands, Mexico, Panama, crossing the canal, Costa Rica, Galapagos, almost the whole the French Polynesia and finally the Fijis, it’s time for us to get back to work carrying the best memories of our life.

The Lucky Cat has been regularly well maintained with great care, the antifouling is new, and the boat is waiting for his new owners to follow his journey all along the oceans.

After having been sailing almost 20.000 NM with The Lucky Cat, we can say without any doubt that the boat is very safe, reliable and easy to handle at sea.

We were only 2 on board during our long passages in the Pacific Sea and only one of us was managing the sails. It was our first boat and even if we were willing to experience an amazing adventure, it was out of question to give up our comfort. That’s why the boat is fully equipped with all the comfort, sometime more, than what people usually have at home.

We were told that speed matters. Speed was not our goal neither this statement was our point of view, and it turned out that we were right. At the end of the day, you’ll spend more than 90% of the time at the anchorage, and there, comfort matters a lot more than speed.

Also, we’ve been crossing the Atlantic Sea (Canaries to La Martinique) in 15 days and 15 hours, which is far to be slow even if the purpose of the catamaran is not to race. We did cross the Pacific Sea in only 3 weeks, arriving at the same time than the supposedly faster catamarans.

Except for the diesel, The Lucky Cat can be fully autonomous: with 4.400W of solar panels, 28.000 watts (equivalent of 2.300 Amps in 12 volts) of Lithium batteries, a 120L/l very reliable watermaker (brand new in Papeete 2024), and with the wonderful Integrel System which allows to charge the battery bank at slow pace (1.200 RPM) spending only 2 liters of gasoline per hour when the sun is not there, with the High Performance Starlink Antenna, all the navigation, comfort and safety equipment including 4 scuba tanks and also an electric compressor, the boat is ready for another very long journey.

The engines maintenance has been done with more care and regularity than required by Yanmar, a brand new 32 kg Spade anchor has been installed in Papeete (more reliable than the one provided by the shipyard which is still on board as a spare anchor), the rigging has been inspected in Papeete in 2024, the antifouling paint, including the propellers, is new and the Saildrive seals have been replaced in Fiji to preventing any trouble.”

We take pride in our happy customers

The multihull company has been great to work with. They were very helpful in every stage of our purchase from instill showings to purchase. Karl Reed, Andrew Hodgon and Andrew Holland were great sources of information and helped us find our dream Catamaran. Thank you Multihull!

— Ryan Thompson

Sold my L42 here with the excellent help and support of TMCs Croatia sales manager “Zee”. Despite my boat docked on the dry in Montenegro, in winter and in a challenging market, TMC and Zee managed to get her sold, managing the entire process from taking pictures and video’s, putting her out there on the web, prepping her and managing all for inspections….down to the final hand-over documents and managing the escrow payments when all boxes were ticked! Very professional, very helpful (Zee went above and beyond to make sure he delivers excellent service), responsive and successful. Thanks TMC!

— Era Sailing

Excellent experience dealing with TMC! Anyone buying a boat I would recommend going thru them. Chuck was super friendly and helpful, he went above and beyond helping us thru the process.

— Blue Compass Private Charters

We purchased our lagoon 410 through the multihull company, Andrew Hodgdon was the listing’s broker. From the start till the end of the process he was upfront honest and accommodating. Our situation was unique and required a bit more leg work. Andrew was always easy to get a hold of and willing to help. It was a pleasure working with a highly knowledgeable broker that values integrity. I highly recommend him.

— mj Sizemore

My experience with Andrew Hodgdon was entirely positive during the selling process of our used catamaran.
He followed up at every stage, organized successful showings, and explained in detail the closing process.
I am happy to give a 10 out of 10 review.
