About

Welcome to the first electric-powered FOUNTAINE PAJOT Cruising Catamaran, Saba 50 Maestro!

Electric bluewater catamaran from the first owner. Moorings are available in Las Palmas, Barcelona, Mallorca, and Athens. Enjoy the freedom, independence and safety of knowing you can sail anywhere and be energy self-sufficient. This Fountaine Pajot has been turned into the perfect live-aboard yacht. It’s ready for relaxed coastal cruising or crossing oceans. (See video!)

The owner fulfilled a dream, turning this yacht into a proper home on the water during a sabbatical. The vessel features high-quality custom fittings and comes with an entire maintenance history. The vessel has been professionally maintained and optimised by an experienced owner who will happily share his experience and ensure a smooth and helpful handover. If you, too, are planning a sabbatical, you can benefit from the knowledge that has gone into this yacht's custom configuration and optimisation for worldwide cruising. As anyone who has done so knows, this beats the inevitable costly and time-consuming troubleshooting of buying a new yacht.

LUXURY LIVEABOARD CRUISING YACHT – READY TO SET SAIL: This Fountaine Pajot Saba 50 is ready for new adventures.

If you dream of setting sail without spending a year outfitting and troubleshooting a new boat, this yacht is for you. Unlike standard vessels or ex-charter boats, this exceptional yacht has been custom-fitted with top-of-the-line equipment, including state-of-the-art electric propulsion and high-end extras, making it a true live-aboard cruising vessel.

This yacht represents incredible value for those looking to embark on their adventureΒ immediately. Commissioning and equipping a comparable yacht in 2025 would cost at least €1.6 million, not to mention the additional time, stress, and unforeseen expenses of preparing a new boat for long-term cruising.

Why This Yacht?

  • Custom Electric Propulsion – Silent, efficient, and environmentally friendly.

  • Luxury Fit-Out – Every extra has been meticulously chosen for comfort, autonomy, and self-sufficiency.

  • Save Time and Effort – No need to spend a year (or more) equipping a new yacht before it’s genuinely cruising-ready.

  • Proven Value – The extras alone are worth a significant premium, ensuring this is not just another charter boat or a basic vessel.

  • Berthing Availability – Secure berths available in key cruising destinations.

  • An Escape in Uncertain Times – More and more people are seeking self-sufficiency and the ability to move freely in a growing uncertain world. This yacht offers precisely that.

This yacht invests in adventure, freedom, and peace of mind.Β If you’re serious about living the dream and want to set sail immediately, this is your opportunity. ToΒ arrange a viewing, contact us today!

Home Comfort

The ample energy storage and solar system offer the same level of comfort on water as at home without worrying about energy consumption. Food is prepared on a three-burner Siemens induction stove, a full-size AEG electric oven, or the gas grill at the stern.

In the cockpit, a full fairing offers protection from wind, weather and sun, making it a pleasant place to live all year round.

Household appliances include:Β β€’ Moulinex bread makerΒ  Β β€’ DeLonghi Eletta coffee machine β€’ Miele WT-1 washer-dryer (8 kg capacity)β€’ Bosch dishwasherβ€’ Microwave with grillβ€’ Ice maker and Moulinex juicerβ€’ Large fridge and freezer 12V DC.

WATER SYSTEM & DESALINATION: Freshwater is provided by an Aquabase SLCE desalination unit with a capacity of 180 litre per hour. Automatic flushing keeps the membranes clean. It can be powered directly from the battery bank via inverters. Solar energy is sufficient to meet its 2 kW power requirement in sunny conditions. The unit has run only ca. 200 hours. Hot water is supplied by a 60 litre boiler running on 230V AC.

Electric Motors

The standout feature of this Fountaine Pajot Saba 50 is its electric propulsion system and its energy self-sufficiency.

Electric Motors β€’ Equipped by the shipyard with 2x Oceanvolt SD-15 motors. β€’ Powered by a 3000-watt solar system (accurate peak output) and hydro-regeneration while sailing. β€’ Backup power by Fischer Panda 21 kW diesel generator in case of extended cloud cover. β€’ Central energy storage: A 48-volt DC battery bank with a capacity of 25 kWh (12 x LiFePO4 Super B batteries, ca 850 charge cycles out of a lifespan of 8,000–10,000).

ENERGY AUTONOMY:Β Two Victron MPPT solar chargers charge the batteries. While sailing, they are also charged via hydrogenation from Oceanvolt motors. They can be charged via the generator and, of course, by shore power via a powerful Victron Quattro 8 kW charger/inverter. The solar system generates 8 to 12 kWh per day on average, fully meeting energy needs. The electric motors propel the catamaran to a maximum speed of 7.3 knots and a cruising speed of 5. Unlike diesel engines, electric motors are low-maintenance, whisper-quiet and allow precise manoeuvring at low speeds.

Cruising speed under engine: 5 ktsΒ  Maximum speed under engine: 7,3 kts

We take pride in our happy customers

The multihull company has been great to work with. They were very helpful in every stage of our purchase from instill showings to purchase. Karl Reed, Andrew Hodgon and Andrew Holland were great sources of information and helped us find our dream Catamaran. Thank you Multihull!

β€” Ryan Thompson

Sold my L42 here with the excellent help and support of TMCs Croatia sales manager “Zee”. Despite my boat docked on the dry in Montenegro, in winter and in a challenging market, TMC and Zee managed to get her sold, managing the entire process from taking pictures and video’s, putting her out there on the web, prepping her and managing all for inspections….down to the final hand-over documents and managing the escrow payments when all boxes were ticked! Very professional, very helpful (Zee went above and beyond to make sure he delivers excellent service), responsive and successful. Thanks TMC!

β€” Era Sailing

Excellent experience dealing with TMC! Anyone buying a boat I would recommend going thru them. Chuck was super friendly and helpful, he went above and beyond helping us thru the process.

β€” Blue Compass Private Charters

We purchased our lagoon 410 through the multihull company, Andrew Hodgdon was the listing’s broker. From the start till the end of the process he was upfront honest and accommodating. Our situation was unique and required a bit more leg work. Andrew was always easy to get a hold of and willing to help. It was a pleasure working with a highly knowledgeable broker that values integrity. I highly recommend him.

β€” mj Sizemore

My experience with Andrew Hodgdon was entirely positive during the selling process of our used catamaran.
He followed up at every stage, organized successful showings, and explained in detail the closing process.
I am happy to give a 10 out of 10 review.
