About

Nimble 36.9 Catamaran, 3 cabin, 1 head

Not an ugly duckling, she's a "Swaen"!

*New bottom paint March 2025!

The Dutch-built Nible 36.5 limited edition catamaran was designed by well-known and respected naval architect Alexander Verheus through Alexander Multihull Design. The epoxy resin building material make her resistant to osmosis and light weight. The owners sailed her across the Atlantic a few years ago and now enjoy the warm waters of the Caribbean. Circumstances change and they are have decided to sell the boat and take care of personal business rather than leave her on a mooring ball. They are active sailors and take very good care her to keep her sailing.

The cockpit area is massive for a 36.9 foot boat with great visibility from the helm. A single plexiglass entry door leads into the welcoming saloon. This entire area is settee that seat eight. The owner customized the settee to make into a full size bed - perfect for passage making. You can drive the boat in he comfort of the saloon area with 360 degree visibility. The nav station is big enough to roll out an average size chart. The sides of this area are open for ventilation and room feel.

The starboard side of the hull midships is the large galley are with privacy and comfort for the chef. The oven and fridge are at eye level - also a nice feature. Aft from there is a cabin with an elevated full size bed, forward is a twin side cabin. Port side, midships is the workshop area with tons of spare parts and tools. The only head is forward with one full size cabin aft.

This isn't a well-known brand outside of the Netherlands but it is a very well-built brand with Dutch craftsmanship and quality. DO NOT overlook this catamaran if you are looking for a well-priced boat that is ready to sail and not spend a lot of time and money getting her ready to go.

This "Nimble" catamaran lives up to her brand - quick and light!

The boat is located in front of our office on a mooring ball, Contact the broker, Chris Rundlett, who is on-island ready to show you the boat or schedule a video walk-through.

We purchased our Balance 442 through TMC, Andrew Hodgdon in the St Augustine office, and the experience was excellent. We had a couple last minute issues like incorrect hull ID on docs, and they quickly ran point to get this all taken care of to help us close on time. It was all especially impressive given that most of this was happening during the end of year holidays. Good team, good follow up. Recommended.
