About

Steel Ketch 2 Cabin / 1 Head

Designed by Pieter Beeldsnijeder and build by Sailing Marina, Harderwijk Werft, NL

Aquataurus is a well-cared for center-cockpit steel ketch with a hard dodger, soft bimini and full enclosure for the cockpit with vinyl cushions for all cockpit seating. It has a custom swim platform to assist with boarding and water activities. There is a sitting area aft with a shade cover for afternoon G & Ts. There are robust handholds everywhere including granny bars around the main mast which makes this super safe in various conditions. Fresh varnish all around the boat done by Winfield Sargent from Bequia. Custom Sunbrella covers on the hatches and woodwork. The glass windows provide a wide field of vision protected from the weather and seas! All standing rigging and headsail furlers were new in 2018, with a Doyle StackPak mainsail cover.

Below, you will be impressed with the Swiss craftmanship and immaculate quarter-sawn Mahogany wood throughout the cabins. All the cabinets have ventilated doors. The galley is L shaped has 1.5 steel sink with Corian countertops, top-loading fridge and two burner stove. Massive storage in every corner no wasted space.

Tufted over-stuffed cushions adorn the settees one on each side the boat. The forward cabin has split single berths. The head is located in the passage way to the aft cabin. You can also access the engine from here(main engine access from the cockpit, as well), The aft cabin features a full-size pullman oriented bed with an L shaped settee.

Equipped with 300 Watts of solar and wind power, 400 Ah AGM house battery and a 4 KW engine driven Dynawatt generator for 220 V and 110 V AC at sea. A huge bowsprit and ketch rig give you plenty of sail options. The cut-away 4 ft. keel with keel hung rudder tucked in the back. Fresh bottom paint was justapplied. Newer AB RIB tender with chaps and 15 Hp Nissan outboard, 80 meters of new chain and a 25 Kg Rocna anchor provide security at anchor.

Only 145 hours on a 2020 57HP Yanmar Engine - this livaboard yacht is move aboard and passage ready!
