About This Boat

In Tune

"She is all that I have left, and music is her name..."

So wrote Steven Sills in the song Southern Cross recorded by Crosby Stills and Nash; a song of sailing, dreams and wild spirit.

In Tune is a vessel with such a pedigree.  In Tune has been lovingly maintained and cared for by her two Australian musician owners.  Launched on the coast of France, she has sailed the Bay of Biscay to the Aegean Sea, skirted the Barbary Coast and crossed the Atlantic to the Caribbean.

She now lies in Grenada awaiting a new adventurer to live their dream.

All this can now be yours!

Already a top-of the-line Lipari Grand Large Oceanic model designed by Fountaine Pajot marine architects Jobert & Nivelt she has been crammed with extras by her owners.  Not only is she fast, safe and easy to sail, perfect for a couple, but she is spacious and comfortable, some may say luxurious.

Lines all come back to the helm station, equipped with electric winch, extra jammers for lines, oil and water instruments to monitor the engines and USB port for your portable devices.  You sleep soundly at anchor, securely thanks to the rubber snubbers on the bridle, 20Kg Rocna primary anchor and new 80m of 10mm chain; not to mention the Delta and Danforth anchors as back-up.

The starboard hull belongs solely to the owners, a large and comfortable cabin with en-suite bathroom comprising full height shower, toilet and hand basin.  There is even a small desk/office area.  The lucky owners have plenty of storage space including lockers and hanging wardrobes.

The port hull is given over to your lucky guests, who have their own private living space.  With two double cabins and a shared bathroom you can easily accommodate mum & dad and their two kids as guests.

Between the hulls, the salon is your indoor living area, cleverly designed it incorporates the navigation station, fully equipped kitchen, dining area for 6 and a comfortable lounge to watch TV.  Of course the AM/FM sound system has Bluetooth, USB and speakers for both indoors and outdoors.

In the beautiful Caribbean climate you tend to spend your life outdoors!  The outdoor dining area can comfortably seat 6 for dinner or host drinks for more than double that number for Sundowners in this beautiful setting.

You are so self-sufficient that you can pretty well leave the world behind.  The Dessalator watermaker gives you fresh water at 60 litres per hour and 5 large house batteries plus engine start battery are kept topped up by the three large solar panes.  You have a Plastimo dinghy with a reliable 6HP Tohatsu outboard that starts every time for those times when you want to go ashore in your "taxi"

Sometimes people leave their decisions in life too late, until ill-health or family obligations prevent them from following their dreams.  In the words of the immortal writer, Mark Twain, "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did.  So throw off the bowlines.  Sail away from safe harbor.  Catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore, Dream, Discover"
