About This Boat

2004 Lagoon 380 Owner Version - NEVER CHARTERED - excellent value at $195,000

Great opportunity, one of the very few second hand Lagoon 380 owner’s version available on the market. This is a well renowned make of catamaran of which over 800 have been commissioned. It is a substantial ocean going vessel which has a good track record over the years.

Acquired in 2005 in St. Maarten from a French family on a sabbatical year, she was one year old and in mint condition. She has since then been regularly updated, has never been chartered and has never had any hurricane damage.

She is the desirable owner's version of the Lagoon 380, with three cabins and two heads. Two of the cabins have queen sized berths, one has a double. The starboard hull is dedicated to the owner and includes a spacious cabin, small office area, and head with walk-in shower enclosure. The Port hull comprises two double cabins and single head.

Though only 38 foot, this catamaran sails really well and offers very efficient use of interior volume. She has a large cockpit, with the raised helm position to port. The galley is located "UP" between cockpit and saloon and of course the 380 features the famous Lagoon panoramic view.

Direct access to the cockpit from the galley makes for easy living and entertaining. The decks are wide and uncluttered so are easy to walk around. The aft transom skirts are well protected. Visibility from the helm station is excellent. The engines are remote from the cabins and are well sound proofed. The Lagoon design allows more headroom (6'7") and a greater sense of space inside than it's competitors.

The signature Lagoon windows allows for unmatched visibility, 360 degree viewing from inside the salon while the unique design shades the windows from the mid-day sun without the ubiquitous catamaran greenhouse effect from slanted windows.
