OWNER COMMENTS
  • A beautifully built, luxurious and spacious 50ft Catamaran built in 2016 by craftsmen in South Africa.
  • This is the Owners version with 3 x double berth cabins all en-suite. Built to the highest standards to cope with the fierce seas in the Southern Hemisphere, this is truly a "go anywhere" yacht with a superb specification to allow globe-girdling voyages in comfort and safety.
  • Following the handover by the builders to the present owners the yacht was sailed up to the Seychelles where she stayed for 5 months. She then headed back to South Africa where she was checked over by the boat builders and then sailed to Cape Town and on to the Caribbean via St Helena arriving in January 2017.
  • She was hauled out in Grenada for the hurricane season. Fortunately Grenada was not affected by the bad hurricanes in 2017 and was re-launched in November 2017.
  • She was sailed up to Martinique via most of the Windward Islands before returning to Grenada to be hauled out for the 2018 hurricane season. The owners will re-launch her again in November.
  • This yacht has been cherished by the owners and maintained regardless of expense. The advancing age of the owners is the only reason that this yacht is being offered for sale

ACCOMMODATIONS

GENERAL

  • Excellent headroom throughout the yacht.
  • Luxury fittings and finishes with hand crafted carpentry in light wood.
  • The use of light but practical coverings and surfaces creates a spacious feeling.
  • 3 en-suite cabins (one in port hull and 2 in starboard hull) with queen size beds and excellent storage throughout.
  • Very spacious bathrooms each featuring Corian handbasins, electric flush toilets (3) with fresh water flushes
  • Each bathroom has a separate large shower and shaver plugs
  • Full air-conditioning with 2 separate air-conditioning units

SALOON + GALLEY

  • A well designed, light and open plan saloon with direct access through large glass sliding doors from the cockpit.
  • This area of the yacht combines functionality with high levels of comfort and is designed to maximize both home and entertainment.
  • The galley has a double area of Corian worktop preparation space with a 4 ring full sized AEG Gas stove and Euro gas oven.
  • There is a Corian serving bar
  • Double sink
  • Samsung microwave and extensive, flexible storage.
  • There is a double access refuse collection bin.
  • A combi fridge freezer is located under another Corian work surface on the port side of the double glass doors in the saloon.
  • The 2 air-conditioning units are located under the seats at the U-shaped saloon table which has room for 9 people.
  • The saloon table itself can be lowered on two hydraulic legs to form a large day or double night berth, equally suited for group movie watching or sleeping.
  • There are several scatter cushions.
  • The Samsung 32 inch TV is located opposite the saloon table and has surround sound.
  • Under the TV is a Fusion AV750 CD, DVD and Radio multi-station entertainment system which allows the chart plotter information to be displayed on the saloon TV and the TV in the owner's cabin.

PORT HULL

  • This is the owner's side of the yacht extending from the aft bedroom with queen sized bed which can be lifted to give access to a large storage area, hanging wardrobe and lattice fronted storage lockers to the bathroom and shower near the bow.
  • High quality linen and mattress cover for the bed and several large scatter cushions.
  • 4 pillows for the bed. The bed area has an opaque Lewmar hatch with a combined mosquito screen and night screen above and 2 diagonal windows in the hull.
  • There is a concertina blind which is lowered at night to provide privacy.
  • At the foot of the berth is a sitting area with storage.
  • Forward of the bedroom area is the office space with multiple electric sockets and a pouffe.
  • There are high and low storage lockers in this area.
  • Further forward is a vanity area with storage lockers and mirrors.
  • The large mirror on the inboard side of the hull is fixed to a door to the equipment space which contains the generator, watermaker, inverter and fuel polisher.
  • Through the bathroom a door gives access to a forepeak area with a single berth which can be used for storage.
  • A sliding lockable door gives total privacy from the saloon

STARBOARD HULL

  • Steps down from the saloon gives access to the starboard hull accommodation.
  • This has an aft stateroom with en-suite, queen-size bed with high quality linen and mattress cover with 4 pillows and several large scatter cushions
  • A spacious shower bathroom with washbasin, electric flush toilet and separate shower
  • Lattice-fronted storage lockers
  • Between the two staterooms is an Isotherm 90 litre freezer and on the opposite side of the passage is the electrical cupboard and remote controls for the diesel generator and the watermaker
  • The midships stateroom has an elevated queen-size bed which is athwartships i.e. lying across the hull. Storage lockers and a mirror. Linen etc as for the aft cabin. Forward of the berth is a shower bathroom, the mirror of the port shower bathroom.
  • The forepeak in this hull can also be used as either a berth or storage, but also contains a top-loading 9kg Samsung washing machine.
  • Both staterooms are completely private and air-conditioned.
  • Forward of the saloon are 2 large lazarettes, one containing the 600 litre fuel tank and the other the 600 litre fresh water tank.
  • Spare fuel in jerricans are stored in the port lazarette and the kedge anchor with chain and rope in the other.
  • The starboard locker also contains 2 x 7kg Gas canisters which supply the stove and oven and the BBQ
  • Between the 2 lazarettes is the anchor locker

COCKPIT

  • Large teak table that, with the 3 wooden collapsible chairs which have cushions can be placed on the other side of the table, will seat 8.
  • High quality, Blue Sunbrella seat cushioning with back rests
  • Full screening of the cockpit that allows this area to be used in all weathers.
  • The helming position is easily accessible from the cockpit and is not isolated from the entertaining area in the rest of the cockpit.
