About This Boat

2017 WINNER of Concours d'Elegance at Antigua Classics!

Jambalaya is the first Antillean schooner to be built in many years on the island of Carriacou, once one of the great centres of wooden boat construction in the Caribbean. Crafted by the last master shipwrights on the island, Alwen Enroe, she is an authentic and actual expression of the wooden ship-building culture that once dominated the Caribbean.

- Traditional schooner which has been recently built; a true representative of the Caribbean—its culture, its (Carriacou’s) tradition of building sloops and schooners

- It’s styling that blends in with Island living and local ports of call

- A well-constructed vessel which is spacious, bright and airy, and yet fairly fast

- A beautiful boat that has been well maintained reflecting the owner’s attention to detail and pride of ownership

-  A vessel of a size and lay-out that can easily be used as a private yacht or a sought after charter boat.

Imagine sailing in the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean, imagine Jambalaya.
