Maldives is run by our fastidious broker and base manager, Abdullah Jaleel, who
is eager to assist you with all of your sailing needs. After having served in a family-owned shipping company from the age of 18, Abdullah studied for a Diploma in Business Management, conducted
by Wollongong University - Australia. He then worked as a manager at Waadhee
Shipping for a period of three years and Island Ferry Services. He has
attended ship and ferry repairs in the Maldives, Sri Lanka and India
as a superintendent to repair large ferries and ships.
Abdullah started the Alliance Management Services Company known as AMSCO in 2000, which since its inception has handled virtually 50% of visiting luxury yachts and passenger liners to the Maldives and has developed a full range of services to satisfy even the most demanding captains and owners. Abdullah is also a founding partner of Super Yacht Asia and the Maldives Association of Yacht Agents. He is the man to go to if you ever wish to sell your catamaran in this region, or ever visit and need advice, assistance, or repairs.
