Multihulls - Madagascar

Exclusive Distributors of these Fine Catamarans

Although you can voyage in Madagascar any time of year, tVincent Aubryhe best season for cruising is generally April through November.  After that, while it tends to be a bit warmer it is also rainier with less wind from December through March. That said, because of Madagascar’s proximity to the Equator, the water remains warm and good sailing is guaranteed the whole year round.

The biggest and most populated of the Malagasy islands is the volcanic island of Nosy Bé.  Located to the North-West of Madagascar, the island is sheltered from the South-East monsoon and makes for easy sailing and the perfect launching point to explore several other smaller islands including Nosy Komba (the lemur island), Nosy Tanikely, Nosy Sakatia, Nosy Mitsio and Nosy Iranja (the turtle island).
