Dean 441

Dean Catamarans from Cape Town, South Africa, have been building offshore cruising catamarans for over 15 years. The new Dean 441 is the fruit of years of experience, and the customer feedback Dean has garnered from launching over 40 catamarans in the past four years. The new 441 is CE certified and has become extermely popular in Europe. She was introduced to the American market in February, 2007, at the Miami Boat Show.

The 441 has an average cruising speed of about 9 knots but can often top 15 knots. Although she can easily be handled by a crew of one or two, she comfortably sleeps 8. Her decks are spacious and uncluttered and the vast cockpit can handle up to 12 people. Down below she has an enormous saloon with standing room for people up to 6 feet 5 inches tall.
