Simonis Voogd Safari 60

Simonis Voogd Safari 60

Salty Dog was launched in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2004. She has been a private /owner use yacht only. She has never been chartered. The yacht has only ever been used by her owners and skippered by a professional skipper. Salty Dog has sailed extensively in the Indian Ocean; she has travelled as far as Tanzania and Zanzibar and has seen Pemba Mozambique, Mauritius, Madagascar, The Seychelles and various other Indian Ocean destinations. Salty has also spent 4 full seasons in the Mediterranean and has toured extensively.

She has been annually inspected and hauled out for maintenance and any necessary work has been carried out. She has recently received an upgrade, done in Cape Town, where the boat was resprayed, the mast was overhauled, the rigging entirely replaced, the engines overhauled and the interior received new paint, new covers, new tops and new flooring, as well as many, many other items. All of the systems have been checked and are all working 100%.

Salty Dog, for her size, is a very spacious catamaran. She has a beam of nearly 10 meters which allows for very spacious accommodation in the hulls and a very large dining/entertainment area in the saloon. Salty is a big yacht for her size and ready to leave again with her new owners.
