If you are looking for a robust, well-built cat that will take you cruising anywhere in the world, you should seriously consider this excellent opportunity. Extensive Refit in 2006 includes NEW twin YANMAR engines. The Prout 50: one of the most world renowned blue water cruising cats of all time.

Theresa Marie's Mast hight is 60' allowing ICW bridge clearance. This is rare to have a 50' cat that can still travel the ICW.

This cat has made many transatlantic crossings. This 50 foot Prout catamaran with it's warm teak interior has had an extensive refit in (2006) making it one of the most comfortable cruising platforms on the market today. She has a large side opening refrigerator, 2 huge freezers, icemaker and air conditioning that are designed to operate efficiently in tropical conditions. Diesel or solar power and inverters provide the power necessary to operate all systems while underway or at anchor. 12 GPH Watermaker, KVH in-motion satellite TV, updated electronics and chart plotter system and very extensive storage for supplies and spares make trips to the marina dock a rarity. Two helm stations with complete electronics, all control lines for the cutter rig lead to the cockpit and NEW twin Yanmar engines make this an easily single-handed vessel. It is rare that the off-watch person on a short-handed crew has to be awakened to manage the yacht when underway.

She has all the amenities of a shoreside home and should be considered by anyone thinking about living aboard or bluewater cruising full time. She has never been chartered and always been well maintained. Price was just reduced. The owner is motivated to sell, so bring in an offer.

Owners are upgrading to a larger vessel.
