This is a genuine blue water power catamaran. She has a top speed of 21 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots, and overall fuel consumption of less than one gallon per knot at cruise. This is more than 1200 miles of range at a 14 knot cruise (considerably more at 9 knot trawling speeds). She has the range and agility to make short, fast, safe passages. Impressive considering she contains 2 sumptuous island queen cabins as well as guest cabins aft, a back-to-back galley, a beautifully executed spacious salon, an enclosed flybridge helm, a cockpit settee, a flybridge viewing deck, and an aft deck customized for sportsfishing.

This Perry will allow you to live and entertain globally. Take her from San Francisco to Juneau in the summers, then Baja for the winter and back. Or perhaps from Annapolis to the ABCs? Both? Please take the time to review her full specifications as they reveal a truly superb incarnation of a power catamaran.

Hull Design & Seakeeping
The Perry 62 leads already slender and easily driven hulls with a bulbous bow. This reduces the energy lost to wavemaking resistance by adding to overall length and 'tricking' the water into behaving as if the hull had an even lower prismatic coefficient. Bulbous bows also reduce pitching moment in a seaway and yields an easier ride. Wide beam gives great stability and reduces undesireable wave interaction. Bridgedeck clearance is very high. The aftermost sections of are designed to create a clean semi-displacement release from the water and achieve excellent speed and efficiency.

Layout & Accommodations
The Perry 62 has a wide and inviting afterdeck approached through extended transoms. An aft cockpit settee overlooks the aft deck which is much more than just a passage between the hulls. It has been outfitted with a live bait well, tackle storage lockers and has space for 4 fishermen. After the catch, the concealed stainless BBQ comes into its own.

Step up to the aft cockpit settee and enjoy spectacular sheltered dining, lounging, and entertaining. A curvilinear staircase leads to the flybridge viewing deck and helm above and a slider opens into the salon. Above on the flybridge the helm is immaculate with a comprehensive suite of electronics that include forward looking sonar, wind instruments, charting, and engine & tank monitoring all displayed on 4 bright LCD panels. Aft of the helm is a sheltered viewing deck.

The salon is grand. It showcases a settee that easily embraces a lively group and three built ins for reading, viewing, or conversation. Entertainment is nested within the american cherry cabinetry to Port and includes a 42" LCD TV with satellite system, a vessel-wide zoned stereo system, and a computer with internet and email facilities.

The galley is down to starboard. It is a back-to-back counter arrangement that is very sensible and provides abundant counter space. The galley is open above to the salon which enhances its sense of spaciousness and its social connection while protecting the work environment from foot traffic.

Forward both port and starboard are matched island queen staterooms with ensuite heads, separate showers, laundry, and abundant cabinetry. Comfort and privacy for two couples are assured forward and aft there is one single and one double stateroom for additional guests when required. Three 17" LCD displays serve the staterooms.

And when the full effect of the sun is desired the foredeck with its removable sunbeds, hundreds of square feet of space, and secure stowage for the dinghy and crane is the place to be.
