Here’s your chance to own a late model (Hull No. 85) PDQ Capella 36 catamaran. “Tis Naut” is the twin outboard motor version of this well regarded cruising cat. This configuration yields lighter weight and retractable propellers for better performance, as well as quiet operation and easy engine removal for maintenance.
“Tis Naut” comfortably sleeps six below decks and easily seats ten in the cockpit for day sails. She’s equipped with a Screacher package for sparkling light air performance (3-4 knots upwind boat speed in winds under 6 knots), a hardtop with full cockpit enclosure, and a 4 KW diesel generator and 16,000 Btu reverse-cycle air conditioning system for comfort whatever the weather.
“Tis Naut” is a well-maintained 2-owner yacht. The first owner sailed her in Florida, where she was stored out of the water on a boat lift unless underway. Her current owner has used her seasonally in the fresh waters of Lake Ontario. “Tis Naut” is reluctantly for sale due to health issues. |
