Owner's Notes:

  • Never used for charter
  • Total engine hours are 6181 on Port and 6061 on Starboard.
  • Both engines were fully reconditioned by FRED MARINE in Guadeloupe in 2008 (less than 1500 hours on reconditioned engines).
  • Oil changed every 100 hours keeping the engine in first class condition.
  • Last service  -Oil, primary and secondary filters changed March 1, 2014.
  • Only used for 3.4 months every year then kept on the hard at Spice Island Marine - Grenada.
  • Sail drive seals replaced 2014.
  • 16" two blade FLEX-O-FOLD props.
  • Twin RACOR primary fuel filters with change over valve at fuel tank.
  • Two 12 volt starting batteries, new 2014.
  • Six TROJAN 12 volt wet cell batteries split into two banks. Four new in 2014. Two remaining need to be replaced.
  • Winches: four Lewmar 48 self tailing winches, two Lewmar 40 self tailing winches, one Lewmar 48 electric self tailing winch.
  • Only three owners including current owner.
  • Sails - Powerful full battened main (over 12 yaers old. looks fine and still does the job), roller furling JIB new 2009, gennaker in chute, storm Jib, hank on Genoa. We have never used any sails other than the main and roller furling jib as they give us between 6 and 8.5 knots.
  • Solar panels keep fridge and freezer going during the day. 4 panels producing between 12 - 15 amps.
  • ONE FRIDGE  4.2 cubic feet ONE FREEZER  5.5 cubic feet  Both working well . Freezer compressor is sea water cooled Fridge Air cooled. We  have always used the Freezer as a large Fridge .
  • Water maker has been pickled . PUR MODEL 80 membrane last replaced in Trinidad approx 7 years ago.
  • Bottom paint - 2012
  • Life raft last checked in 2008.
  • Floor hatch hinge needs to be replaced and seals renewed. ACR  406 emergency beacon - batteries need to be checked .
  • Radar on Shangaan is not functional and needs to be replaced.
  • Camping gas conversion kit and bottle for French Caribbean Islands
  • Maxwell 1200 anchor winch with 100' of 3/8" chain and 150' of nylon rode.
  • Ground tackle: 45 lb. Delta, 45 lb. plough, Fortress FX 23.
  • Seawater wash down in anchor locker.
  • Full hard top Bimini with sun screens all around.
  • Microwave oven.
  • Stern mounted propane BBQ grill.
