MARSAUDON COMPOSITES MRS D 525 - “WATER MUSIC ”

WATER MUSIC is an all carbon, very-high performance cruising cat unlike anything you have seen before. It was built by the renowned Marsaudon Composites yard in Lorient, France, best known for building racing multihulls like IDEC, PRINCE DE BRETAGNE and spars for GROUPAMA and GITANA. Marsaudon also builds successful cruising multis such as the PARADOX 60 trimaran, the TS42, TS50 and new EOS 54.

Weight saving was the key word for this project: fittings, systems, composite and structure. The end result is a boat that weighs in at just 8 tons. WATER MUSIC is equipped with many "go fast" features: a carbon rotating mast, carbon dagger-boards, rudders and twin carbon tillers. Her sail plan includes a self tacking jib, high roach mainsail, genaker on bowsprit and spinnaker. All sails are by INCIDENCES. Have a look a the attached video of the the boat sailing at a steady 20+ knots under solent and mainsail. A very rare sight on a cruising cat.

The four double berths and the 2 bathrooms make the boat comfortable for cruising with family and/or friends while fully enjoying navigation and mooring in shallow waters. She is equipped light and smart with hydro-generator, solar panels and large alternators on the engines. A water-maker rounds out the comfort amenities.

The perfect cat for a someone looking to enjoy the thrills of fast, bluewater cruising or to race in the some of the world's best "Corinthian" events: Caribbean 600, Voiles de St. Barth, Heineken Regatta, Fastnet, Multihull Cup.
