LAGOON 500

LAGOON 500

2007 Lagoon 500 4-cabin owner version - now $499 000

This is not a used and abused, heavily chartered boat! She is arguably the best kept 2007 model on the water, rivalling boats many years younger. An absolute "must see", for anyone looking for a turnkey boat. Photos taken 10 Jan 2017 by Carl, The Multihull Company's permanent on-site BVI broker.

Bought new by the current owners, she has been a lightly used, owner-operated crewed charter yacht since 2007. She is well known, respected and booked by the top charter brokers and has won awards at charter yacht shows. She is offered as a fully kitted out, ready to go charter yacht with many unique features that make her a great charter yacht. Those same features make her equally attractive to those looking for a long-range family cruiser.

Her power systems have been designed for resilience to failure and quiet, economic operation. Two small generators with ample inverted power mean that power is always ON to the galley and cabins, and whilst the generators can be operated together, either generator can support the power needs of charter, leaving one spare as back-up. The 6kW Northern Lights has external mounts that reduce vibration and a secondary sound enclosure with direct extraction that make it the quietest Lagoon 500 – particularly important in the forward cabins.

Maintained and looked after to a high standard, the interior woodwork looks almost new. With new sails in December 2015 and a host of other recently replaced items, she represent a great opportunity to carry on the good work of the present owners, or simply sail away in a ready to go family cruiser.

Boat Highlights:

Bought new by the current owners, she has been a lightly used, owner-operated crewed charter yacht based in the BVI since 2007. She is well known, respected and booked by the top charter brokers and has won awards at charter yacht shows. She is offered as a fully kitted out, ready to go charter yacht with many unique features that make her a great charter yacht. Those same features make her equally attractive to those looking for a long-range family cruiser. She has a huge amount of refrigeration space, with custom modified cabinetry to the port hull that encloses two full-height frost free fridge/freezers, a washer and useful shelving area. The aft cockpit wet bar has a fridge, ice maker and a 12v cooler - total fridge/freezer volume is circa 24 cu ft (680 ltr).

Her power systems have been designed for resilience to failure and quiet, economic operation. Two small generators with ample inverted power mean that power is always ON to the galley and cabins, and whilst the generators can be operated together, either generator can support the power needs of charter, leaving one spare as back-up.
