Catana 521 - “Herenui II ”

PRICED TO SELL AT EURO 750.000!! RECENT PRICE REDUCTION OF EURO 90.000 TO ALLOW A QUICK SALE OF THIS MAGNIFICENT SAILING MACHINE FOR IMMINENT DELIVERY OF A NEW, LARGER CATAMARAN.

This is a 3-cabin (owner's version), owner maintained, beautifully appointed and generously equipped Catana 52. Please find a large number of recent photos in our gallery to get an idea of this vessel's condition.

The impressive list of upgrades and options was selected by an uncompromising blue water sailor for performance ocean voyaging. Carbon mast, boom, crossbeam, bowsprit and gull striker. Sails by INCIDENCES include a high- aspect, tri-radial SPECTRA main, SPECTRA genoa, KEVLAR-MYLAR gennaker and triradial (symmetric) spinnaker. Large 78 HP engines by Volvo (930 hours)pushing 3-blade folding props will keep this yacht running at 9 to 10 kts cruising speeds when the zephyrs are absent or drive it off a dangerous leeshore when needed. A full suite of B&G nav electronics with repeators at each helm station and cockpit bulkhead, SIMRAD autopilot with control heads at each helm and electric throttles at each helm highlight the top notch electronics aboard this performance catamaran.

The open 3 cabin, 3 head interior is finished in varnished cherry. Interior systems strike a careful balance between comfort, redundancy and light weight: these include a NORTHERN LIGHTS generator (4.5 KVA), 6 x 110W solar panels, SPECTRA 60L/H watermaker, 2 x 100 liter refrigerators, 1 x 100 liter freezer, 3 burner FORCE 10 stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and 2 x EBERSPRACHER heaters provide full comfort in cooler climes.
