CATANA 471 OWNER VERSION - “MELODY II ”

CATANA 471 OWNER VERSION - “MELODY II ”

MELODY is one of the cleanest and best equipped Catana 471s sailing today. This Catana 471 is a rare version that features the "Caligo" interior with high-gloss, cherry wood veneers, corian countertops and alcantara liners. No synthetic veneers on this Catana.

MELODY is run by a full-time, professional captain who has upgraded it extensively over the last two years. Brand new Ocean Breeze air-conditioning installed, new standing rigging, new Garmin plotter and radar, new AGM house batteries, new Profurl roller furler, new North Sails genoa, new AB RIB aluminum dinghy, new eisenglass enclosure, fresh Awl Grip paint to crossbeam, martingale, boom and davits.

This is a well-tuned, great-looking sailing machine that can take you long and far right now. The equipment list ticks all of the boxes: generator, solar, airco, watermaker, washer/dryer, two plotters, radar, SSB, satphone.

The boat has a number of smart customizations that make it unique: corian countertop and sink against the cockpit bulkhead; custom, extra-wide bimini hard-top and custom eisenglass enclosure keep the cockpit completely dry underway; two extra crew bunks in port bow compartment; throttle controls at each helm; remotely controlled windlass and main electric winch...

Have a look a the photo gallery and specification. An unusually well-appointed and comfortable Catana 471. Currently in the Bahamas. This is the "legend" and it has been refitted and tweaked by a pro for you sailing pleasure.
