Location
Capitol Sailing School is based out of Fort Washington Marina in Fort Washington Maryland, just south of the DC beltway. Our youth program and Basic Keelboat Course are offered at Fort Washington on the protected waters of the Potomac River. Advanced courses are taught aboard larger boats that sail out of Deale, Maryland just south of Annapolis.

Directions

Fort Washington Marina:
495/95 (DC Beltway) 210 Indian Head Highway South on the Maryland Side of the Wilson Bridge 210 South about 5 Miles Right on Fort Washington Road Left on Warburton Drive Follow Warburton to Marina.

Deale, Maryland
From Washington...
Take Rt. 495 to Rt. 4. Take Rt. 4 south 15 miles, take right onto Rt. 258 (Bristol/Deale). Follow Rt. 258 5 miles to first stop light. At the stop light make a right onto Rt. 2 1/4 mile and take first left onto Rt. 256. Follow Rt. 256, 2 miles to the Herrington Harbour Marina.

From Baltimore...
Take Rt. 695 to Rt. 97 South. Take Rt. 97 South 18 miles (Rt. 97 will merge with RT. 665 Aris T. Allen Blvd.) to Rt. 2 South 16 miles and take left on Rt. 256. Follow Rt. 256, 2 miles to the Herrington Harbour Marina.

From Annapolis...
Take Rt. 2 South 16 miles and take left on Rt. 256. Follow Rt. 256, 2 miles to the Herrington Harbour Marina.
